I find it wholesome to be alone the greater part of the time. To be in company, even with the best, is soon wearisome and dissipating. I love to be alone. I never found the companion that was so companionable as solitude.

West of Memphis

I finally was able to watch Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory tonight, and now I’m looking forward to seeing West of Memphis which should hopefully be in a theater near me by the end of the year.

The West Memphis Three have endured so much thanks to our flawed justice system. I’m so happy that they’re free men, and are now able to live their lives. So much time lost, but I’m sure with the help of everyone that’s been supporting them through all these years they will prevail in living an ordinary life like you and I. As it states on their website; The WM3 Freedom Fund is a legal trust fund that was created to pay for Damien, Jason and Jessie’s basic lifestyle needs (food, shelter, healthcare, education and the like) in order to provide them a financial bridge as they re-enter society as free men, with the expectation each will become self-sufficient and live on their own earnings in the near future as they attain their career goals.

Midnight In Santa Monica

I haven’t felt like quite myself as of late.

Happiness is kind of non-existent at the moment, and listening to Roy Orbison isn’t helping. Am I heartbroken? Maybe, but a lot of things have affected my blue mood.

It’s funny how the gloomiest music some how gives me hope that I may in fact feel a little less blue. Depressing music is my remedy, it helps me snap out of it.

In light of what I said above, below is a link to my favorite Roy Orbison song.

Enjoy, and good night.
